Age and assessment criteria for entry across primary and middle school. We accept mid-year admissions and support transitions across curricula.

| Grade 2 | 7+ | Grade-1-level assessment in English and Mathematics |
| Grade 3 | 8+ | Grade-2-level assessment in English, Mathematics and EVS |
| Grade 4 | 9+ | Grade-3-level assessment in core subjects |
| Grade 5 | 10+ | Grade-4-level assessment in core subjects |
| Grade 6 | 11+ | Grade-5-level assessment, including Science and Social Studies |
| Grade 7 | 12+ | Grade-6-level assessment plus a language-proficiency check |
| Grade 8 | 13+ | Grade-7-level assessment; prior school transcripts reviewed |
Minimum age is calculated as of 1 January of the academic year.

SSSGS welcomes children moving from CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge, IB and local-curriculum schools. Our assessment process is designed to understand what your child knows and where they need support — not to gate-keep.
